Many of us have watched the show from a young age and watched the protagonist brothers save the world numerous times at the expense of each other's lives. We've seen their struggles, for some they were even shining lights of how to push on when adversity struck. They might not have faced the things that went bump in the night, but they found hope and courage watching Sam and Dean Winchester's fight. The end brought tears to many eyes.

But their story's ending does not mean that there will be an end to the impact that Supernatural has left, especially when a prequel show has already made itself known.

The Winchesters is a past telling of the story of John Winchester, played by Drake Rodger and Mary Campbell, played by Meg Donnelly. How this show shapes up to be is still guesswork, but the few episodes that have been released give a feeling of watching the earliest season of Supernatural, albeit a little campy one. Still, hopes are that the show can mimic what its predecessor had, even if it is only a fraction.
